Who is responsible
A khatauni (account copy) and khasra (field copy) are issued from the record of rights maintained for the revenue circle in which the land lies. The circle office issues the certified copy; the same records are viewable on the state land-record portal.

Request the certified copy at the circle office
Carry the khata number or plot number and a copy of the existing record if available; ask for a certified copy with the office seal.

If the record is missing or wrong, file a correction application
A missing or incorrect entry is not fixed by a copy request; it needs a record-correction application through the revenue office.
