Who is responsible
A revenue decision in Bihar can be challenged through the hierarchy of revenue officers, starting with an objection at circle level and, if not resolved, an appeal to the Sub-Divisional Officer or the district authority, and thereafter to the revenue court. Time limits apply at each stage, so the written order must be read carefully.
Important condition: The next forum and the deadline depend on the type of order and the rules in force; take the order and the current rules to the circle office or a legal adviser before filing.
