Who is responsible

Child marriage is prohibited and a planned child marriage can be stopped by an injunction when reported in time, so reporting the place and date is more effective than a general complaint. The police, the district child protection machinery and the Child Development Programme Officer each play a part, and the report should go to all three so that none of them treats it as someone else's work.

Important condition: The legal ages differ for a bride and a groom, and an accusation of child marriage is judged on birth documents; state the ages as exactly as you know them.
