- Sewer overflowing or no sewer connectionA sewer line is overflowing, or a house or street has no sewer connection; PHED and the local body share responsibility depending on the area.
- Garbage not collected or overflowing binHousehold waste is not collected, the bin is overflowing, or waste is dumped on the road; the local body runs door-to-door collection.
- Illegal dumping or garbage burningSomeone is dumping waste on open land, a nullah or a river, or burning it openly; this is a pollution and local body issue together.
- Public toilet missing or unusableA public toilet is absent, locked, dirty or without water; urban local bodies run them under the sanitation mission.
- Community hall, park or public place damagedA park, community hall, temple, ground or waiting shelter is in poor condition or unusable; the local body or panchayat maintains it.
- Pot hole covered after repair — depth not filledA repaired road patch has sunk again and water collects; ask the engineer for the depth of the filling material used.
- Road dust or garbage not cleared by the bodyRoad cleaning, water sprinkling or garbage removal is not being done by the municipal body or panchayat even after a complaint.
- Toilet subsidy (₹12,000) not receivedBuilt the toilet but the SBM subsidy has not arrived: check the application status, then ask the panchayat.
- Blocked drain or waterloggingA choked drain or standing water on the road — the responsible body depends on whether the place is inside a town or a village.
