There is no bus on a route, a route was discontinued, or a bus does not come as notified; this is a transport department and depot matter.

Who is responsible
Bus routes operate either by the state transport corporation or on private permits under the Transport Department, and the district transport office holds the route and permit record. Where a notified route stops running, the depot or the district office is the correct place to ask why and when it will resume.
Important condition: Depot-wise schedules and suspensions change often, and monsoon or maintenance suspensions may be temporary; check the current notification before treating a suspension as permanent.
