Who is responsible
The EWS certificate is used for reservation in central and state education and employment for families in the lower income group. It is decided at district level after verification of the family income, and a separate income certificate is generally part of the same application, so the two are often filed together.
Important condition: The EWS income limit and the definition of family income are fixed by current government notification and change; verify the current limit before applying.
