Who is responsible
A disability certificate is issued by a medical authority after examination, and the certificate is the basis for disability pension, the UDID card, scholarships, reservations and travel concession. Because the UDID number generated from the certificate is used by many departments, the certificate should be issued in the same spelling of name as the Aadhaar record.
Important condition: The designated authorities and the disability percentage criteria are set by the state and can be revised; confirm the nearest authorised hospital for your district.
