Who is responsible
A caste certificate for SC, ST, OBC or EBC is issued by the revenue circle after local enquiry that checks the applicant's community and family background. Applying on ServicePlus gives you an acknowledgement number, which is required for tracking and for any appeal, and the certificate is a precondition for most reservation benefits.
