Who is responsible
Rural Works Department maintains ordinary district roads and village roads outside municipal limits, including rural drains and culverts. The Gram Panchayat also has statutory duties for village roads, drains and street lighting under Sec. 22 of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006.
